Garrett has really enjoyed playing basketball with his team. It's taking awhile to get the fundamentals of the game down but as I hear it from other parents that is about how it is for a few years. He enjoys his teammates (one of whom is in his kindergarten class which has been a really good way of helping him make friends since he has been a little shy in school.)
He and Brad got their tickets to the game (thankfully they decided to have a season afterall.) It was Garrett's first Jazz game and they had fun.
So basketball for kindergarteners is basically a lot like soccer except for the use of hands instead of feet. Garrett, #0 is not hard to miss, he is the one jumping up and down most of the time. He's just exercising his calves.
OK I love your new quotes on the side! :) Too funny. My boy would probably still be spinning circles instead of chasing the ball! So glad Garrett is enjoying himself.
