Miss Embrie turned 3 years old!
This turned into a very long celebration, but I am sure she didn't mind one bit.
Her birthday was on a Sunday (superbowl Sunday) and all the kids were sick so everyone stayed home from church except for mom who had to teach. But once mom came home the Birthday Partying began.
Garrett and Maren picked out a fun gift.
big girl bike!!!
we took it outside and she got pretty good! she is very excited to be riding around the block with her big brother this summer, and with a little practice she might be able to keep up . . . well ok maybe she will atleast avoid getting lapped.
Then after Madonna provided a special concert for her, not many people can say that! (via superbowl half time) we sang and had cake and ice cream.
Officially 3!
Grandpa and Grandma Callahan paid a visit with some special Cinderella gifts for Embrie! Then Grandpa played . .uh . . whatever game this balloon hitting thing was, which they loved and both Grandma and Grandpa played match games. That was a special birthday treat to have a visit with them!
Then FINALLY we had a much anticipated friend party! It had been set for the week before but was cancelled when the birthday girl got sick.My Little Pony was her chosen theme.
can't wait for friends to come!
Now with 12 small children running around I forgot to take pictures of the games that we played. But they did a fun bean bag toss and a "hay hunt" where they dug for prizes in the hay. Then they came to the table to do some noodle art on a pony page and have birthday cookies (yes that was new this year) and ice cream.

Katy had so much fun at the party....she asked me the next day if she could go to her party again!!!! Happy Birthday Embrie!
ReplyDeleteGavin couldn't stop talking about the party and carrying around his treat bag for days after the party! Even though in all of the pictures he looks unsure and did cry a bit! Thanks for breaking him into the party seen! Happy Birthday Embrie!
