angry birds

So we don't have a lot of gagets over here at the Callahan house, I think that most of them are just something else that we will use to waste our time. But we got Brad an early birthday present this year and gave it to him at Christmas. And now here we are, yep we now belong to that club of people that you see who's small children are playing games on their Ipod and are usually better at it than the adults. It's actually gotten quite funny.

If either Brad or I are playing with it we suddenly become the most popular person in the house.

we love our angry birds, oh boy!

It may be time to hide the ipod already!

spit

who knew that watching someone spit on themselves could be so interesting and even cute.

Making Dream Catchers

Garrett made a paper dream catcher in kindergarten a while back. One night when he had a bad dream he asked me where his dream catcher was, of course I didn't know anymore. So I told him that we'd make our own.

Jr Jazz

Garrett has really enjoyed playing basketball with his team. It's taking awhile to get the fundamentals of the game down but as I hear it from other parents that is about how it is for a few years. He enjoys his teammates (one of whom is in his kindergarten class which has been a really good way of helping him make friends since he has been a little shy in school.)

He and Brad got their tickets to the game (thankfully they decided to have a season afterall.) It was Garrett's first Jazz game and they had fun.

So basketball for kindergarteners is basically a lot like soccer except for the use of hands instead of feet. Garrett, #0 is not hard to miss, he is the one jumping up and down most of the time. He's just exercising his calves.
