The Easter Bunny Came

Socks, Underwear, Umbrellas Oh My!

Garrett came creeping into our bedroom a little after 7am and had the biggest grin on his little face! He was so excited to go down stairs and see what the Easter Bunny had put in his basket.

The Easter Bunny hid all of the eggs that we'd dyed this week. The kids searched and gathered them in their baskets!

Goodies

Embrie's first umbrella, she was so thrilled!

There are not many days of the year when you can wake up and have candy, doughnuts, and chocolate milk or hot cocoa all before 8am! At least we threw in a banana and the option of a muffin as well.

HAPPY EASTER!

You've Got Mail

Garrett and Embrie love getting packages or letters in the mail. They were very excited to open this Easter package from Grandpa and Grandma Callahan!

Swim suits, towels & floaties! Just in time for the warm weather to start! Maybe its a good sign!

The Ugly Egg

What came first the Ugly Egg or the Ugly Duckling?

When I was growing up it was tradition in the Watson house to hold Easter egg dying contests, there were many divisions, but the most coveted title was that of the Ugliest Egg. So we continue on in tradition. Each person picks one egg to try and make it as ugly as they can. Sometimes in your attempt you may make a pretty egg or original egg instead of an ugly egg. This is not as easy as it sounds! (When I was a kid my dad was the champion almost every year!) So once again this year I ask you my blogging neighbors to assist in the vote for the ugliest egg. Leave us a comment and let us know what you think.

Village People Egg Hunt

The Village People. That is what we call ourselves here in our gated community. Because it is after all called "the village". Anyway we had our annual Village Easter Egg hunt. The kids LOVE hunting for eggs. I mean who doesn't, right?

The dynamic duo. Excitement before the hunt.

Little Reader

Last month Garrett started getting books sent home with him as preschool homework. So exciting! He is excited when he gets to bring home a new book. We have been very proud of how well he is doing. I can't believe he is growing up so fast!

He has a sign off sheet, once he has read a book at least 3 times you can sign it off, send it to school and he comes home with a new one.
