A new spin on family home evening the other night was spending it with our friends the Graybill's. My friend Nickie asked us if we would like to come over for a short lesson and we could have treats and do sparklers. When I asked what I could bring or help with she asked if I could do the lesson! Ha ha! tricky tricky! Invite people over then ask them to do the lesson! (I've got to try that one!) I'm kidding. It was fun! We did a short lesson outside and then went in for treats (because it was the last cool day we had before finally getting the summer heat wave). And then we came back out for some sparklers.
The last time that Garrett had a sparkler I think he was about Embrie's age and . . . he got burned. yikes! So we hadn't tried them since. I was pretty sure Garrett would be fine this time around being older but I was just a little nervous about Embrie.
As you can see she did just fine!
