While he was gone

A week or two ago Grandma Sheri invited Garrett and his cousin Jaxon up for a "boy's weekend with Grandma". He got to go stay for the weekend. He did a lot of fun things and enjoyed every minute. I will hopefully get some pictures from my mom so that I can tell his side of the story. But what did the other 4 of us do while he was gone? Well . . . things were a lot more quiet around here for some reason *wink wink* Embrie enjoyed getting a little bit more attention than I think she has been used to.

One morning after she woke up but Maren was still sleeping, daddy took Embrie down stairs and got her breakfast. When Maren had woke up and finished her breakfast we went to find out what everyone else was doing.
Daddy was in the basement with Embrie having a tea party! Just little things like this made Embrie's day. (Especially when she is such a daddy's girl right now.) I was able to spend more time playing with her too. She and Maren and I had gone for a walk together and looked at all kinds of flowers too.
